Female, Lurcher/Terrier Mix, 10 years old, 10kg

Skylar is a charming senior lady who joined our shelter family in July 2023 after a frightening experience in a fire at her previous shelter.

She’s a lurcher cross terrier around 10 years old and weighs 10 kilos. She adores human companionship and prefers people over other dogs.

Skylar has leishmania and she’s undergone treatment twice in the time she is with us. Her blood work is looking good, but she limps from time to time because she wasn’t treated on time. But don’t worry, it doesn’t slow her down at all! She still loves going for walks, playtime, and living life to the fullest.

Skylar would do best in a home where she can be the only dog or with more submissive canine companions, as she can be a bit sassy at times! If you’re thinking about adopting an older dog, please consider giving Skylar a chance. She deserves a loving home where she can truly thrive.
