Male, Beagle/Labrador Mix, 8 years old, 14kg

Meet Tommy, our sweet smiley boy who joined our shelter family in July 2023. Tommy is a charming mix of beagle and Labrador, approximately 8 years old and weighing around 14kg. Despite facing some challenges in the past, Tommy is the epitome of serenity and affection.

Tommy has been dealing with leishmaniasis, but he’s been proactive in his treatment, completing two rounds of medication with positive results. Unfortunately, he had to have part of both his ears amputated due to healing issues. 

Despite this, Tommy loves nothing more than napping, chewing on rabbit ears, and receiving belly rubs. He’s great with other dogs and loves being around kids.

Dogs with leishmaniasis can live happily with proper care, which includes affordable medication. Tommy has hopped from shelter to shelter, but we believe he deserves a forever home to enjoy his golden years. We are hoping to find that special home for him to bring more happiness to his life. Let’s give Tommy the lucky break he truly deserves!

- You will be contacted to undergo a home check

- Adoption fee will apply. This will pay for the travel costs and go towards vaccination costs / general costs while in our care.
